Phnom Penh, Cambodia – The Zion International School of Phnom Penh (ZISPP) recently shared an exciting update on their Facebook page, highlighting a delightful summer camp activity that took place on July 4, 2024. The event featured a visit to Ambrosia, where students had the opportunity to learn the art of making Halo-Halo, a popular Filipino dessert made with crushed ice and a variety of sweet ingredients.

Halo-Halo, which translates to “mix-mix” in Filipino, is a refreshing treat perfect for the summer season. The students at ZISPP were thrilled to engage in this hands-on culinary experience, which not only introduced them to a new dessert but also sparked their interest in Filipino cuisine, language, and culture. The school’s commitment to providing diverse and enriching experiences was evident in the enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the learners during this activity.

The summer camp event is part of ZISPP’s broader initiative to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that extends beyond traditional classroom settings. By offering students unique opportunities to explore different cultures and cuisines, the school aims to foster a love for learning and an appreciation for global diversity.

Parents and prospective students interested in discovering what makes ZISPP the ideal choice for education in Phnom Penh are encouraged to visit their campuses in Toul Tom Poung or Chbar Ampov. The school is currently offering new enrollment packages for the 2024–2025 school year, and appointments can be made to learn more about these exciting opportunities.
