At Golden Gate American School (GGAS), we are proud to witness the inspiring leadership of our students VirakLaksmy Say, Nails Ung, and Rithymeng Ly as they introduce their peers to the Model United Nations (MUN). As dedicated student leaders, they have taken the initiative to share their knowledge and experiences, encouraging their fellow students to explore this dynamic platform for debate, diplomacy, and global problem-solving.
What is MUN? Model United Nations provides students with the opportunity to step into the roles of world leaders, representing different nations, discussing critical global issues, and collaborating to find real-world solutions. This enriching experience fosters essential skills such as public speaking, negotiation, critical thinking, and leadership, equipping students to become informed global citizens and future changemakers.
Why MUN Matters By participating in MUN, students gain valuable insights into international affairs while honing their abilities to communicate effectively, think critically, and develop diplomatic solutions. It empowers them to be proactive in addressing global challenges and making a positive impact in the world.
We commend VirakLaksmy, Nails, and Rithymeng for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to inspiring others. We encourage more GGAS students to engage, challenge themselves, and step into leadership roles through this transformative experience.
