In an inspiring show of solidarity, Southbridge International School Cambodia has joined forces with the Royal Group of Companies and its subsidiaries in a national humanitarian aid campaign titled “We Stand Together for Cambodia.” This urgent initiative is in response to the rising needs of displaced families across the country, aiming to provide critical supplies during a time of uncertainty.
Starting July 29, 2025, the public, school community, and all Royal Group employees are encouraged to contribute essential household goods, food, medicine, and hygiene products. One of the designated collection hubs is located at Southbridge International School Cambodia’s Borey Peng Huoth Boeung Snor campus, where students, parents, and staff have come together to give back to the community.
Education with Compassion
Southbridge International School Cambodia has long advocated for holistic education—where academic success goes hand-in-hand with empathy and civic responsibility. Through this campaign, the school is demonstrating that community engagement is an essential part of student development. Learners are encouraged not only to understand social challenges but to actively participate in building solutions.
In photos shared on the campaign’s official page, young students stand alongside banners reading “Stand Strong. Stand Together,” surrounded by volunteers, school staff, and donation bins filled with food and household supplies. These powerful images reflect the school’s mission to educate not just minds, but hearts.
United Across Cambodia
The campaign spans multiple collection points across the country, reinforcing the nationwide effort. These include:
-
Wing Bank Parking (Royal One)
-
Infinity General Insurance PLC – Cambodia
-
CBS / CNC TV
-
Cellcard Headquarters
-
Ezecom
-
Northbridge Communities
-
Southbridge International School Cambodia (Peng Huoth)
-
Hotel Cambodiana
This coordinated response is a reminder that humanitarian support is strongest when institutions, businesses, and individuals come together. By taking part, Southbridge reinforces its role as a leader in both education and social responsibility in Cambodia.
A Call to Action for Families and Educators
Parents, students, and staff are invited to visit the Southbridge campus and take part in this humanitarian drive. The school is also actively encouraging families to share information and mobilize additional donations from the wider Phnom Penh community. As students participate in sorting and collecting donations, they are learning firsthand about empathy, generosity, and civic duty.
In times of crisis, education becomes more than lessons inside classrooms—it becomes action, purpose, and unity.
