Community Action to Aid Refugees in Need
In response to the ongoing conflict along the Cambodia-Thailand border, Invictus International School Phnom Penh has launched a community donation campaign to support families who have been displaced and are in urgent need of basic supplies. The school is actively engaging its students, parents, and staff in an outreach effort rooted in solidarity and compassion.

Rather than seeking monetary donations alone, Invictus emphasizes the importance of immediate, tangible aid—calling for items such as non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries, and other daily essentials that can provide quick relief for affected individuals.

Essential Item Donations Over Cash
Recognizing that families on the ground require immediate assistance, the school encourages the donation of essential goods. These items can offer direct support to displaced individuals without delay. Contributions can be dropped off at the designated collection point at the school’s front glass door, with the drive running from now until August 8.

This thoughtful approach ensures that every donated item makes a direct impact, reducing the delay typically associated with cash fund transfers and logistics.

Monetary Support Option Also Available
For those who prefer to give financially, Invictus has also provided a secure channel for monetary donations. Contributions will be managed through the school’s CIMB Bank account and directed to refugees via Phnom Penh City Hall’s official campaign, ensuring transparency and accountability. The school’s banking details are as follows:

  • Bank: CIMB

  • Account Name: INVICTUS INT SCHOOL

  • Account Number: 0037990

These funds will go toward supporting relief operations coordinated by trusted organizations such as the Cambodian Higher Education Association (CHEA) and City Hall.

Instilling Empathy Through Education
This initiative demonstrates Invictus International School Phnom Penh’s deep-rooted commitment to community values and responsible citizenship. By involving students and families in charitable action, the school is fostering a sense of empathy, awareness, and proactive contribution among its learners. Such real-world engagement teaches students that compassion and civic duty go hand in hand with academic achievement.

Moreover, the donation drive reflects the school’s broader educational philosophy—nurturing not just academic growth, but also strong moral character.

Join the Drive and Make a Difference
Whether through donated goods or financial contributions, every act of support counts. Invictus encourages everyone in its community—and beyond—to join hands in helping fellow citizens during a difficult time. By working together, the school believes meaningful change is possible.
