The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) Cambodia proudly represented the nation at the Global Education Reform Conference, held from May 13 to 14, 2025, in Jeju, Republic of Korea. This international conference brought together education leaders and policymakers from across the globe to address critical issues and share best practices aimed at improving education systems worldwide.

The participation of MoEYS reflects Cambodia’s ongoing commitment to enhancing education quality and aligning the national education framework with international standards.

Key Areas of Focus

At the conference, Cambodian delegates joined in-depth discussions on:

  • Digital transformation and the role of technology in education

  • Inclusive education and strategies to ensure equitable access to learning for all students

Cambodia’s Role on the Global Stage

This conference also served as preparation for the APEC Education Ministerial Meeting 2025, which Cambodia will attend. The experience gained at Jeju’s Global Education Reform Conference is expected to support Cambodia’s active engagement at APEC and other international education forums.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport emphasized that global collaboration and the adoption of innovative approaches are essential to drive meaningful education reform that benefits Cambodian students and educators.
