Spring Education Center continues to take a proactive role in preparing Cambodia’s youth for both academic success and career readiness. On July 26, 2025, the center organized a highly informative Academic Sharing Session at Spring Hall (Room 10), designed to support students navigating the crucial transition from high school to university and, eventually, the workforce.
With a focus on personal development, professional preparation, and making informed decisions, this session empowered students with insights and tools to chart their academic and career paths confidently.
Helping Students Choose the Right Academic Path
One of the key segments of the event was “Choosing the Right Major and University.” Many Cambodian students face uncertainty after high school. This session offered guidance on aligning personal interests, market trends, and university programs to make smarter, future-focused decisions.
By engaging students in discussions around course selection and university life, the Spring team helped attendees understand how their academic choices can directly influence long-term opportunities and career satisfaction.
Beyond the Classroom: Building Practical Experience
The Academic Sharing Session also explored extracurricular development, including volunteering, internships, and participation in academic clubs. These experiences, while often overlooked, are essential for developing leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills—traits highly valued by universities and employers alike.
Spring emphasized the importance of hard and soft skills and how both are necessary for building a successful professional profile. Participants learned about resume writing, interview etiquette, critical thinking, and the value of lifelong learning.
From University to the Workplace
Another key area of the session was helping students understand the realities of the workplace and the competencies expected of university graduates. Under the theme “Choosing the Right Career and Workplace,” the session encouraged students to think beyond graduation and consider how their skills, values, and passions align with potential career paths.
This part of the session helped bridge the gap between university education and real-world application—one of the most significant challenges facing young Cambodians entering the job market.
