In response to the recent border conflicts that have displaced numerous families across Cambodia, Logos International School in Phnom Penh has launched a compassionate and coordinated relief effort. Their latest initiative focuses on collecting non-perishable food and essential baby items to support vulnerable populations affected by this humanitarian crisis.

As a Christian school grounded in community values, Logos International School is committed to both spiritual and practical action. In this time of need, their campus has been transformed into a food donation site—inviting students, families, and the wider community to donate necessities that will be delivered directly to displaced families in camps.

What Is Being Collected—and Why It Matters

With many families lacking access to basic supplies, Logos is calling on the public to contribute tangible items that can make a real difference. Requested donations include:

  • Rice (in 1kg bags)

  • Canned food

  • Peanut butter

  • Dried fish

  • Noodles

  • Baby formula, diapers, and wipes

  • Bottled water

These items are critical not just for nutrition but for maintaining health and hygiene, especially among infants and young children. Logos has made it clear that only physical donations will be accepted at this time—no cash contributions—to streamline logistics and ensure resources reach those in need quickly and safely.

An Invitation to Make a Difference

Donations are being accepted until Friday, August 1st, with drop-offs available during regular school hours. Logos International School urges all donors to bring items directly to their campus at #928, Street 1015, Phnom Penh Thmei, Phnom Penh. For inquiries, the school can be contacted through Telegram (016 544 467) or via email at office@logoscambodia.org.

This outreach effort not only provides immediate assistance but also fosters compassion and solidarity within the Logos school community and beyond. It’s a living expression of the school’s mission to combine faith, service, and education—demonstrating care not just in words but in action.

Faith in Action: A School with Heart

What makes Logos International School’s effort stand out is the heartfelt message behind it. The school openly shares that many within its own community have been directly affected by the crisis, and their response is rooted in both empathy and a sense of duty. Their call to serve “our neighbors in need” echoes their Christian values and encourages others to follow suit.

This initiative highlights the important role that schools can play in responding to national emergencies—not just as educators, but as vital support hubs that mobilize people and resources for the greater good.
