Established in 2017, OIC Cambodia’s mission is to “grow speech therapy services in Cambodia and help those with communication and swallowing difficulties.” This mission stems from a stark reality: despite the significant number of individuals in need, there are currently only a handful of qualified speech therapists in the country. This lack of access significantly impacts the quality of life for those with communication disabilities, hindering their ability to participate fully in education, employment, and social interactions.
